“Dream of Time: a journey through spiritual world music” is a collection of works of different styles, languages and cultures; they reveal a great variety of religious and spiritual perspectives, but belong to all humanity. From ancient Greece to Japan, the age-old tradition of combining voice with a stringed instrument has always been a common denominator in world music. In this program, the mezzo-soprano's color compliments the versatility of the viola da gamba and the performers adapt to the very different aesthetics in with an exquisite natural flow.
