Eftychia Giannakakou is a promising Greek mezzo-soprano. Born in 2001, she began her career in the Children’s Choir of the Greek National Opera in 2012 and has since distinguished herself for her rare vocal timbre in demanding classical repertoires. She completed her studies at the Athenaeum Conservatory in Mata Katsouli’s solo voice class in 2025. She will present German songs set to music by Robert Schumann and French songs set to music by Fauré, interspersed with piano gems performed by her accompanist, Dimitris Giakas.

The concert will open with Stefanos Grammatikos in a mini piano recital, presenting his thesis piece, with which he hopes to complete his studies at the Music Department of the Ionian University. Stefanos participated in the Netflix series “Maestro in Blue” by Christoforos Papakaliatis, providing musical support for various scenes, accompanying the local choir on the piano as well as key scenes in the series, and teaching the series’ lead actors piano for the production’s needs.
