Zoom lecture
The Museum of Modern Art of New York holds, undoubtedly, the greatest collection of French modern art in the US, but the Philadelphia Museum of Art is not far behind. Matisse, Picasso, Braque, Brancusi, Chagall, Gris, Léger and Delaunay are represented by some of their finest works including Chagall’s The Poet, Half-Past Three (1911), Gris’ Man in a Café (1913) and Picasso’s Three Musicians (1921).
Our presentation will take us through all the major modern pictures in the collection and focus on the unparalleled collection, gifted to the museum by Walter and Louise Arensberg, of the work of Marcel Duchamp, the controversial inventor of Paris and New York “Dada” .
You will receive the Zoom link as soon as we are notified of your purchase.
